I would really like to take a family vacation this year, but we are financially low (gotta love gas prices). I live in the NorthEast and have a 4yr old, 5 y.o, and 16 y.o. We like the beach, theme parks, and outdoor activities. Any suggestions for something fun and economical?

At the end of April, we are going on a vacation to the Bahamas.
What should we pack. We have know what to put in carry – ons as we fly often, but we have never been to the Bahamas.
What outfit should the 2 2-year olds wear? One is a girl, one is a boy. It will be warm here in CA and warm in Bahamas.
The other kids pick out what to wear themselves.
So, what should we pack. We will be staying for 9 days.
We are planning on taking 3 suitcase. One for me and the hubby, one for the 13 year old, and one for the 2 year olds. The other kids (18 and 21) aren’t coming.
